The Celts lived in an island and were divided into various tribes, about 27. From the map you can see that most of the population was concentrated towards the south and the center. There were about a million people and life expectancy was around 35 and 40 years old.

They fed on poor foods, such as bread, stew, porridge, and beer; these foods consisted of wheat, legumes and vegetables that were easy and quick to grow.

They were excellent iron workers, they built wagons and boats to move faster. They moved more by land on foot or by horse or by sea along the coasts.
