A Look Into my Glass

Taking the title into consideration, I expect the poem may be about the aspect of a person. The poem is organized into three stanzas of quatrets, divided by punctuation, and is used the iambic pentamether. Considering that the title of the poem is equal to the first line, I deduce that the poem belongs to some collection. Many words belong to the semantic field of time (for then, eve, endless). Time is the key word of this poem and in fact the ninth line is written in capitol letter. Reading these references to time and deducing the tiredness of living with words, I can say that this text speaks of old age. In the first stanza the theme of old age is introduced by looking in the mirror and seeing the worn out skin. Then in the second stanza reflects on the death that now feels close. In the end, the subject is the time that lets the last moments of life pass.
