Warning

Just considering the title, I aspect the poem to be about something you have to pay attention. I also aspect the text allerts me about something.

Considering the layout, the reader can understand that the text is a poem because it is arranged into four stanzas by punctuaction. Among the various stanzas there is also a white space that divides them.

The first stanza covers eleven lines, the second and the third covers only four lines and therefore they are called quatrain while tha last one is composed by three lines and it is called tercet.

In the firts stanza the tone is ironical and it is narrative.

The speaker is a young woman who imagines what her life will be like when she grows old.
