Children are very influenced by other people during their youth, in particular when they are teenagers and they go to school. Indeed they need to stay in a group and not be isolated.

At the begin of their lives children are so influenced by their parents because they see the world through their parents eyes. Babies are also very “Tabula Rasa”, and they do what their parents do.

When children go to school meet different kinds of teenagers and so different kinds of behaviors. This is the most important moment for teenagers’ personality because they need to stay in a group. For a teenager staying in a group means belonging to something and allows him to identify himself, because he must respect the rules of that group. So he develops a multiple identify depending on the group where he is.

Moreover staying in a group is so important for teenagers because they feel accepted by the others. In our society this fact is so crucial because it can change teenagers’ personality. Indeed if a boy or a girl is excluded from a group he or she can have a weak personality.

On the other view, staying in a group can have a negative influence on teenagers. Indeed it can instigate vandalism, bullying and use of alcohol and drugs.

In conclusion, staying in a group is very important for teenagers because it can develop their personality, but they must pay attention to which group they decide to join with.
