The title of the extract makes me think of somebody's love for someone else. Probably Romeo and Juliet were two lovers.

ES:2

  1. life in death= Thus a kiss I die
  2. Romes descendes into the graveyard, he wonders how Juliet can look so fair in death. Before drinking his poison, he asks his eyes to do their last look. Then he begs his arms to take their last embrace and his lips to kiss hers. He drinks poison and falls by her side.
  3. happy dagger means that Juliet welcomes death because it will reunite her with Romeo, her husband.

The themes of Romeo's soliloquy are Love and Death.

The medium of Juliet's and Romeo's fate is speed and impatience
