REGENI CASE – TIMELINE

15th January 1988: Giulio Regeni was born.

2016: Giulio Regeni's death.

3rd February 2016: the discover of the body.

24th February2016: Amnesty Interntational launched "Verità per Giulio Regeni".

1st March 2016: the autopsies showed that he had been tortured.

24th March 2016: police killed four responsible men.

21st April 2016: the inquest discovered that three police men were with Giulio the nighy before his death.

8th June 2016: Giulio Regeni's tutor at Cambridge Uniersity declined to collaborate with the inquest.

1st May 2017: Pope Francis confirmed that the Vatican is taking steps to investigate the situation.

21st December 2017: the Italian investigators, led by Giuseppe Pignatone, flew to Cairo to meet the Egyptian investigators.
