It’s well known to us how much technology has changed our ordinary life, becoming a big help during these past years since it started becoming bigger and bigger throughout time. But are we really sure about the fact that its impact on our society is normal and acceptable?

Technology can be used not only as an assistance, but it may also turn into something accidentally dangerous or lethal.

Let’s talk about cars, for example: vehicles have existed for decades, but since technology had become more powerful and efficient for humans, it included new features into them such as the automatic driver feature, which takes your place at the wheel.

Why do we trust technology this much? Accidents happen all the time among our streets everyday because of humans’ mistakes such as falling asleep at the wheel or drinking before driving, so are we really ready to let this much into technology’s hands?

It is necessary to slow down and think about what we are doing. Maybe if we would be more careful in what we do we wouldn’t need machines at all, they just satisfy our sense of laziness and let other entities take full responsability of what we should be doing.

Accidents can be easily avoided by staying concentrated on the road and the street code as we are driving, there’s no need to include technology in it just to permit it to take our place and fulfill our lack of responsability.
