If I were a parent and discovered that my child has cancer, I think I would initially be shocked and think that there is nothing to be done. Then, however, after rationalizing the thing, I think I would like to hear the opinion of several doctors, because a single opinion could be little to try to save the life of my son; I would then go to different doctors and choose the therapy that has the highest success rate. During therapy, as it should be, I would be close to my son, so that he can have a reference figure, that makes him laugh and makes him think as little as possible to the disease, because this is precisely what makes people fragile, even if a child does not realize it at all.
