Giulio Regeni was an Italian Cambridge University graduate who was abducted and tortured to death in Egypt. He grew up in Fiumicello, a former comune in the province of Udine in the northeast of Italy. Regeni's mutilated and half-naked body was found in a ditch alongside the Cairo-Alexandria highway on February 3, 2016.Italian and Egyptian'police officals conducyed separate autopsies on his body and it signs of extreme torture.
