Indeed, after telling about his life, about his studies at Princeton University and his increasing American dream, the protagonist underlines his oustanding records at university: this leads him to his job with the Underwood Samson & Company, which evaluated business. He has the perception to live in a wonderful dream where everything is possible and is dominate by perfection.
  • America rapresents his love as well who is a girl called Erica. Every moment of America is personified with Erica’s one.
