Taking notes correctly is so important because it allows to understand immediately the central theme of the assignment, making easier the comprehension. It is not just important for students, but it is a valuable life skill. If you are able to take good notes, you will be more effective in pursuing your goals.

In my opinion, this activity must be done in a right way, so that it can give the desired effects. So it must follows some important rules. To start with, the information must be put into a right hierarchy and so placed into different levels, based on the relevance of these. This is so important because it helps you to remember information. This aspect can be done with use of key words that highlight the main topics of the assignment.

Subsequently it is necessary to use a simple language, based on use of nominal sentences and graphical organizers, so that they immediately catch the eye. Indeed, once created, your notes show a record of your thinking and they provide the source material for your next project. For this reason you will only truly understand concepts because everyone use a different kind of smart language.

On the other view some people think taking notes is needless because it does not allow to understand the right aspects of the assignment. These people think that this activity diverts their mind from the central theme. Some studies have shown that comprehension and reorganizing of information are improved when people make their own notes rather than rely on materials provided by others. Indeed if you take notes by yourself, you force your mind to construct a mental representation of the ideas you are grappling with. This process helps you to comprehend the subject you are working for.

In conclusion, in my opinion, taking notes is so important because it allows us to understand the main topics of assignment, both they are part of study or life and it helps us to improve our knowledge.
