La principale differenza tra italiano e inglese quando si usano gli aggettivi possessivi è che in italiano ci c’è il singolare, il plurale, il maschile e il femminile per ogni persona (Es1) In inglese invece c’è un unico aggettivo per singolare e plurale (Es2) Es1 : il mio gatto; la mia gatta; i miei gatti; le mie gatte. Es2 : my cat, my cats. 2. La frase tradotta viene : Sylvia’s pen is new. Rispetto all’italiano, l’ordine delle parole cambia. Bisogna fare attenzione a non mettere l’articolo davanti a “Sylvia”. 3. “Whose ruller is this?” 4. Per formulare la domanda uso “what” perché ci sono svariate possibilità di risposta. La traduzione è “What is your favourite film?” |
