FEMALE PROTAGONIST'S CHARACTERIZATION

The object of the present work is to write a textual analysis of the characterization of the female protagonist of “Meteor Garden”.

The girl presents herself as humble compared to all the other boys attending the university. You can notice it from both the clothes she wears and the low profile she keeps.

However, she appears to be quite confident and brave. Indeed, she does not hesitate to go to the boy's house to bring him a handkerchief, something futile.

Afterwards, she goes to the house of one of the F4, she is disoriented inside that huge house and is surprised by all the attention the maids have towards her. Moreover, her attention is captured by the large bookcase where she is waiting for the boy. She pauses to look at his family photo, which she seems intrigued by. With the boy he seems to be quite confidential. Following the meeting, she shows her irritation of him, perhaps derived from some words of the boy that made her nervous.

Subsequently the viewer realizes that the protagonist does not belong to a wealthy family: indeed, she has to work in a bar. Here she meets two schoolmates and she seems to be attracted to him. Indeed, when she takes orders she is enchanted and stares at him.

After meeting with other girls of the university, the female protagonist is disappointed by what she hears and then wanders around the city with melancholy until she meets the boy who kisses her and changes her mood until the next day.

However, the next day, when the boy's girlfriend arrives at school, she suddenly becomes sad, perhaps because she did not know he was engaged. Even the following day he feels bad to see the two together, however he seems to have a reason and continue on his way.

Afterwards, the protagonist turns out to be very nice to her friend, despite her sometimes exuberant character. The sentiment is reciprocated, indeed, he helps her in the canteen.

In conclusion, the protagonist is frightened because of the conflict scene between the two boys, but she is reassured by the boy she likes.
