I'm agree with the teacher. Because in the world there are a lot of people that speak about peace but nobody do something for peace.
I think it's very important learn peace at school. But it must be learn at primary school because after is too late.
I think that we had to do peace now.
If everybody apply peace, just a little bit the world could change.

Peace is a hot topic of discussion that has always been symble of freedom, life, thought.. In my opinion it is very difficult to catch up, but it is sign of hope and if everyone were engaged this world would be better. To think how civilians must see in front of the own eyes to die they beloveds just for the power and the enrichment of some politician...many doubts and fears come me.

The word \"peace\" is used in particolary when you want speak about the world, that is, what happens around the world. It is important underlines that in this moment there are many wars in all (or largely) the world.
Therefore, now the need of peace is continuous but in my opinion it is very difficult \"found\" its because the war is always existed and always it will exists until the people doesn\'t consider its as a money-market and for this way I think that there is a only thing to do: you need change the world first of you need change ourself.

Peace is a value that shuold get everyone involved.I is a global problem. We cannot be insensitive to the problems of the world. Peace is not a granted condition and one day we could be war's victims ourselves.

I agree with my teacher.
Today peace is a hot issue because everyday there are wars caused by political’s interest.
Moreover: there are wars because we don’t accept other people and we are intolerant. It’s absurd !!
I think reach peace is difficult but possible.
Too many innocents die every single day for stupid or egoistic reasons.
We may reach peace if we apply ourselves in our reality and if political men don’t cause wars only for their interests.
We are all the same and doesn’t matter the colour of skin or the different religion.
In my opinion reading and analysing songs about peace is very important because make us more sensible and careful about today’s problems.
Moreover: we learnt about events just happened so we could reflected about them, didn’t forget and we won’t do the same mistakes!!
I learnt about some events and I am ashamed of belong to humankind!!
I analysed the sond "Famine" by Sinead O'Connor.
In this song she sing about the condition of Ireland when it was submitted under England.
She talks about drammatic events.
Irish people loose their pass and their memory beacuse they couldn't learn their history and their language.
They couldn't have their costums and traditions
They haven't got any identity!!

The theme of peace is very important nowadays but it is so difficult to reach because of the worldwide unrest. Everybody speaks of peace, our politicians keep telling us how essential it is to maintain it but, at the same time, not much is being done to salve those problems which cause turmoil in many parts of the world. As a matter of fact we can witness every day what is going on in a lot of Countries. Never ending conflicts that started a long time ago, wars that won’t see an end in the near future, on the contrary, they seem to get worse and they seem to spread very dangerously to other places. So, in this context, how can we speak of peace? Of course each of us has a different idea about it. I think for young people like me what really matter is friendship independently from the colour of skin, politics or religion differences. We have to learn to be tolerant especially now that we live in a Country where more and more immigrants are chancing our way of living. If we are ready to accept this new reality we can say that tolerance is also a synonym of peace. Last but not least important is to remember those people like Martin Luther King who have fought and died for human rights and peace.

I think that the peace is a very hot issue, because today the coutries of the world think to defend theirself with nuclear arms rather than to search a way to reach the peace in the world.
So I agree with my teacher and I think that to talk of problems like this is much important for us. The music is another way to promote peace because it send hope message to the world.

I agree with the teacher’s opinion because all days we listen to news about war. What strikes me is innocent persons who are killed because they live in war zones, and the real reason why people make the war: only for business.
I think music is a good vehicle to catch up peace, because we often inspire to our favourite singers, but music may be a good mean of expression if people understand the message but it is sometimes difficult to comprise; so we can listen to music, too, to live in freedom but we must do something concretely if we want to try to change the world.

I think schoolworks may be useful to make students sensitive about peace.
I think music is a good vehicle to promote peace. For example the song Imagine by John Lennon. The singer makes us to think to the peace.

I agree with teacher's point of view. Unfortunately we can see lots pictures of children, woman, men destroyed by wars; also we can hear their crying fit and their shout.
I think music is a good way to promote peace, becouse music is travels quickly. There are lots of songs that speaks about peace: Blowing In The Wind is a good example becouse the singer tell us that all words blowing in the wind.

Nowadays peace is one of the hottest problems in the world because the countries who are able to keep it do not want to do it. The “Western” world, made up by Europe and the USA, exploits the conflicts in the Middle East and in Africa to become richer.
In my opinion peace will remain only an utopia until the rich countries will not stop this wild exploitation.
We have the responsibility to inquire information after the peace problem to grow up as aware persons, able to solve our world’s problems.

I think that the song "Give Peace a Chance" by John Lennon gives an important message about peace: that you should do something concrete for peace and that you shouldn't just speak about it.

Using the word peace we refears to a condition in wich there is no conflict, in which we can express ourselves whithout opposintions and fears.
Wherethere is pece couldn't exist violence, untollerance and hate.
On my opinion we have to search to bring peace everytime but we aren't able to create this condition.
The idea of peace is only an idea and as a consequence we can't find it completely; however to serch it is imperative, everytime and everywhere!

The concept of peace is nowadays one of the hottest all over the world. The conflicts in Israel, Palestine and Africa, the religious persecution in the Far East and in South Africa, the situation in Afaghanistan and in Iraq give us a daily proof of the difficulty to keep peace. The global community is aware that this problem is an urgent responsibility for everybody .

The meaning of “PEACE” refers to a psychological sense of inner peace that generally coincides with the peace of the mind. As far as society is concerned, it means the absence of direct violence between individuals and common organisations. Instead the peace between nations depends on people’s will and their commitment to defend it.ONU is the organisation whose task is to work for peace. More specifically peace is considered a value recognized by everybody; this value must overcome any social aPeace is a wish that is present in everybody’s heart without difference of culture. We must cancel the falseness in the world so as not to pollute the relations. So only then we can start to speak about peace. You can find peace when you will be able to look abut the world with different eyes and when we will decide to not build an materialistic empire; and when we will decide to not choose the “lex talionis” to resolve all.We should stop and realize what is the meaning of life and wonder result give us: peace or conflicts? Or only source of wealth? I think that peace will be hard to reach because in this period the world is, in spite of everything, that is in the technological progress, occupied by different wars causing by wickedness of people.

Today peace is an important problem all over the world. From man's apparition on Earth, wars have always existed, but only in our days peace is becoming such a relevant problem.
It is a never-guaranted condition but it is essential for men's life.
This is the reason why everybody has to understand that is important for all the comunity reach a global balance.
Peace is also a very frequent element in literature, the central theme of different poems, thus the study of literature contributes to the reflection on peace.

Peace is a necessary condition for everybody. It is essential for a lot of reasons:to stay well with the people sorrounding us.
Unluckily the world where we live has become a capitalist world and we have lost the meaning of the word peace. Everybody is mainly interested in satisfying his needs and interest.
Peace is a value that shuold get everyone involved.I is a global problem. We cannot be insensitive to the problems of the world. Peace is not a granted condition and one day we could be war's victims ourselves.

I agree with my teacher; peace is a very hot and important issue. On TV I hear very often people who fight for peace and many countries that have always lived with war. What strikes me is that most people dont' care about it; maybe because they know that it's impossible to live in peace or maybe just beacuse they don't care much about it. Many singers have written songs about peace. In We Are The World the group of singers sings "We are the world, we are the children, we are the ones who make a brighter day". Children, and adolescents are the future, so if we are going to learn and to teach children how important is peace, probably in tha future it will be possible to live in peace. This is why is think that we should talk about peace at school.

I agree with my teacher’s opinion; talking about peace at school may help students to reflect about it and to make all together something real to reach it on Earth.
To me to reach peace everyone should really want it and nobody should make war and violence. Peace is not unreachable, but people should commit themselves to make peace and not to make war and violence; but in my opinion they do not commit themselves maybe because they do not really want it.
I often read articles about peace and there are also TV programs where people discuss about peace problems, and also some singers’ songs are about peace. For example Give Peace a Chance by John Lennon give an important message: people shouldn’t only say words, but they should do something to reach peace.

I agree with Ms Beltramini. I think that speaking about peace also at school is important. It might seem a trivial argument, because everybody (even children) speaks about it, but it is not!
Our thoughts are usually trivial: boys and girls (but men and women too) think only that peace is a “good thing”, that in the world there are people who don’t live in peace and that we are lucky, because “we live in peace”
But speaking about this theme we can easily understand that the problem is more complicated, that it is not far from us and so our contribute may be important.
The use of text analysis is interesting to deal this argument, in my opinion, because poets don’t write explicitly: poems and songs have always a metaphoric meaning. So I think that songs and poems’ function is only to give some ideas that make us understand what we really think, and creating a personal opinion is important to talk about an argument like this.
I think that the song Blowing in The Wind gives an important message about peace: we have to act, otherwise our words and nice speeches will only blow in the wind!!

I agree with Francesca and Luca. Schoolwork may be useful to make students sensitive about the problem of peace, even if students cannot do anything practical at the moment. Fortunately students and children represent our future, and so they will be able to change theirs and our life.
I think music is a suitable vehicle to better promote peace. Wind of Change by Scorpions is a provides example. It is about soldiers, who could only listen to the wind during the war.

I think peace is a hot issue too.
It is often discussed on TV programs, newspapers and magazines and I think that our school peace project may make students more sensitive about it. I analyzed Famine and I understood more about the reasons why Ireland has undergone a lot of conflicts and the singer proposes remembering and healing as means not to forget the tragedies following conflicts.
