FCamuffo - Why Do I Think Reaching Peace Is Difficult
[author: Francesca Camuffo - postdate: 2006-12-07]
I think that reaching peace is difficult today because all people want to be better than others. As a matter of fact in the world there are many wars, all of them for different reasons.
A reason may be petrol, as a matter of fact people use it fill in their car engines and other vehicles and this is very important for contemporary life.
With petrol you can go somewhere quicker than without it, you can put on the light, you can get warm and have many more comforts. As I have already said, all this is very important and if petrol were not there, at hand, nobody would know what to do. It might be like living in the Stone Age, when people put on fire, went hunting or something else.
Unfortunately wars create a lot of victims that are very often women and children. It’ s horrible to watch children holding guns or other fire arms on TV. They are children and children should think only about playing. It is no good they have to fight. It should be like a cub that tries to get a living alone. It would never be able to do it.
Even if fighting states know that wars are very dangerous and kill some people, they do them all the same. As a matter of fact they do not worry about the evils othat might signify for the people that live in those places where they will be used but they think only of their aims.
So the reason why today peace is so difficult to reach is because people think only about themselves and they do notworry about other people's fate.
