STORYLINE: Pamela is a servant at an aristocratic house, and when her Lady dies she starts working for her son. The master demonstrates an eccessive attention for Pamela, and also he tries to seduce her, but she always escapes. So, Pamela's master decides to imprison Pamela. She is desperate, understands that her master is not a bad man. The young man also understands that his behaviour will not be repaid and starts courting her. In the end also Pamela falls in love with him.
CHARACTERS: Pamela is the protagonist of the novel. The others characters are lady B ( the owner of the house where Pamela works) and Mr B: the lady B's son.
SETTING: The novel is set in Lady B's house during the XVIII century.
NARRATOR: The epistolary novel uses the first person narrator: Pamela is telling the story, so it's difficult for the reader to have a personal judgment.
