Differences in the parts of the novels

Daniel Defoe àPICARESQUE NOVEL:

      Storyline: it speaks about people, places and relationships between different culture.

      Character: he is very skilled, he explores day after day the island, he is a selfmade man, a sort of hero.

     Setting: it is set on an island far away and in which the character expresses his courage and his ability.

 

 

Samuel Richardson à EPISTOLARY NOVEL:

      Storyline: the story, written to teach how to write a letter, is narrated by Pamela's point of view.

     Character: she is an innocent and shy maid.

 

 

Henry Fielding: à PICARESQUE NOVEL:

      Storyline: the story tells adventures of a young man and it teaches different attitudes in life.

      Character: he belongs to the middle class and he represent the model of the gentleman.

      Setting: it is set in country scenes.
