Story-line:

Robinson Crusoe:

Once arrived in a island Robinson meets an aborigen (Friday) and tries to civilizes him and he tries to riproduce English society in the island.

Pamela:

Pamela is a governess who works for a old lady who is just died; lady's son doesn't want just a working relationship but also a sentimental relationship and Pamela tells this story through some letters to her parents

Tom Jones:

Jones and Patridge are travelling from Somerset to London, when in the middle of the night they see a ligh: Jones wants to know what it is while Patridge is afraid; at the end they discover men and women who have a party.



Characters:

Robinson Crusoe:

Robinson: the protagonist ,the stereotype of the self-made man, he is brave corageous, he is able to use his intelligence to solve problems;

Friday: he is an aborigen and is the stereotype of an other culture, an inferior culture than English one.

Pamela:

Pamela: poor girl who needs to work for a old lady.

Master: he is in love with Pamela but she wants a sentimental relatonship with her.

Tom Jones:

Jones: he is brave, he uses his mind to solve problems he sees things in a different way;

Patridge:the servant, he is afraid by everything expecially supernatural, and the narrator makes a parody of him.



Setting:

Robinson Crusoe:

Space: Desert island

Time: second part of XII century

Pamela:

Space: Lady's house

Time: Pamela describes her working days and the facts that happens during them

Tom Jones:

Space: On a boat

Time: in the middle of the night
