1)OPINIONS
Sandra: "I don't trust Terry" , to say everything to Carol and "What are friends for?"
Peter: to stay out off that situation. (He added that if she told Carol about the problem) she would be really upset.
2)LINGUISTIC FUNCTIONS
Sandra:
I want to ask your advice about something.
I don't trust Terry. I've never really liked him.
But now I'm not sure what to do.
If you were me, would you say something to Carol?
If I told her, at least she would know!
Peter:
My advice is to stay out of it.
If you tell Carol, she'll be really upset.
It's none of your business.
If you get involved, you'll be sorry.
To ask for an opinion: If you were me, what would you do?
3)ARGUMENTATIONS

Peter:
If Sandra told Carol, she would be really upset.
It was none of Sandra's business.
If Sandra got involved, she would be sorry.
