  1. Post - Colonialism in not so much concerned with chronological issues awith a reassessment of the relationships between cultures in the terms of cultural, political and social issues.
  2. The effects of Colonialism on language, education, religion and culture continue at all levels of society well after the end of colonial rule.
  3. The superficial similarity between Post - Colonialism and Post - Modernism lines in the fact that they developed in the same chronological period and often employ the same literary devices.
  4. One major difference is that Post - Modernism, thought political to certain extent, only questions the conventions of genres, while Post - Colonialism is more politically oriented.
  5. Post - Colonialism has greater affinities with marginalised groups and issues such as feminism and class discrimination, than with Post - Modernism.
