The interface between Post-Modernism and Post-Colonialism

Post-Colonialism is not so much concerned with chronological issues as with reassessment of the relationships between cultures in terms of cumltural, political and social issues.

The effects of Colonialism on language, education, religion and culture continue at all levels of society well after the end of colonial rule.

The superficial similarity between Post-Colonialism and Post-Modernism lies in the fact that they developed in the same chronological period and often employ the same literary devices.
