I think that the speaking voice is a mother. She is talking about her daughter.
The title is "My daughter" and the text talk about a relationship between a mother and her daughter.
The speaking voice doesn't understand the daughter's behaviour.
In the first stanza the speaking voice is wondering what she has done.
The mother says that she has listened to her daughter's cries and pleas and she has tried to understand all of her daughter's needs, hopes and dreams.
But she doesn't understand why her daughter continues hating her and not trusting her love.
In the second stanza there is a question: the mother asks herself why the daughter has left her alone.
The mother tells about the relationship between them: they talked, cried, laughed and joked together. But all tghis happened before.
The problem was that as the daughter got older she wanted to go away.
The mother asks a question: she asks herself where her daughter has gone because she doesn't know it.
And she asks herself if she will see her daughter again.
The mother wants to save this relationship but she doesn't know how to do it.
