The poem is written by a woman, certainly a mum who speaks about her daughter and the problems with her.

Probably the women has done something very bad to her daughter or has had an argument about a very serious problems.

Surely something has happened and her daughter got very angry with her.

For example, she explains, the daughter has gone away and she asks herself where she might have gone.

She also says that she had always helped and listened to her daughter and she would like to know why she behaved in that way.
