In the 43 b.C. Antony, Cesar and Lepidus form the second triumvirate that rules the Western world. Lepidus soon leave the triumvirate. Antony has a wife in Rome;her name is Fulvia. Even if he is married to Fulvia, he stays in Alexandria with Cleopatra, the Queen of Egypt. Cesar calls Antony back to Rome because there are civil wars but Antony agrees only after Fulvia dies. Antony goes back to Alexandria because he's in love with Cleopatra. Cesar is tired of Antony and Cleopatra so he decides to attack. Cesar defeats Antony because his army is more powerful and more skillful than the Antony's one. Enobarbus, Antony's best friend betrays him and joins the Cesar's army. Cesar sends him to kill Antony but he cannot do it so he kills himself. Antony asks Eros, another friend of his to kill him but he doesn't want to do it so Antony kills himself with his own sword. Cleopatra doesn't want to be subdued to Cesar so she kills herself with poison.
