Antony, a Roman triumvir with Caesar and Lepidus, after Lepidus left the triumvirate, lived in Egypt with his wife Fulvia and his mistress Cleopatra, the queen of Egypt. Soon Caesar called Antony home to Rome where they planned the marriage between Antony and Caesar's sister, after Fulvia died, but Antony deserted Octavia and returned to Cleopatra. After that Caesar attacked Egyptian reign helped by Antony's best friend. Antony, facing defeat, killed himself and Cleopatra did it too, leaving her reign without a king.
