“Anthony and Cleopatra” is a play written by Shakespeare and it concerns the period of the second triumvirate; it was created by Lepidus, Anthony and Octavius.
Anthony fall in love with Cleopatra and abandons his wife and goes to Egypt. Octavius gets angry and recalls him back to Rome. When his wife fulvia dies, Octavius orders to Anthony to married Octavia; but he is unfaithful to his wife too.
He returns to Cleopatra, but Octavius gets angry again and attacks Egyptian troops.
Finally both Anthony and Cleopatra killed themselves.
