At first Cleopatra is the queen of Egypt, so she is a powerful woman, who rules and commands.

But in Act I, Scene I, Shakespeare describes her like a sentimental and enamoured woman. As a matter of fact she asks Antony how much he loves her.

Cleopatra is also considered a temptress, because when Antony is with her, he think only about her and he loses interest for Roman's problems and he becomes weak when he is with her.

So in Act I, Scene I, Shakespeare shows us tree aspects of Cleopatra: the queen; the sentimental woman and the temptress.
