Sandra: Peter, have you got a minute? I want to ask your advice about something.

Peter: Sure. What's the problem?

Sandra: It's about Carol. You know she's going out with Terry now. She's really crazy about

him.

Peter: I know.

Sandra: Well, she told me that they had arranged to meet last night but then he phoned her up and said that he had to stay at home.

Peter: And..?

Sandra: I saw him at a disco later on ... He didn't see me. He was too busy kissing Sharon

Bates.

Peter: Sharon!

Sandra: Yes, I don't trust Terry, I've never really liked him. But now I'm not sure what to do. If you were me, would you say something to Carol?

Peter: No, I wouldn't. My advice is to stay out of it. If you tell Carol, she'll be really upset.

Sandra: If I told her, at least she would know! What are friends for? If my boyfriend did something like that, I would want to know about it.

Peter: You haven't got a boyfriend.

Sandra: If I had one.

Peter: Listen, Sandra. It's none of your business. If you get involved, you'll be sorry.
