"Thinks..." is a postmodern novel because:
• 1) We find differents genres (recording thoughts, journal, stream of consciousness and e-mails).

•2) We have many point of views. (Relativism)

•3) It uses an informal register.

•4) First person narrator.

•5) It draws the attention more on technique then theory.

•6) It is metaliterature , as a matter of fact Helen Reed explains everything about novels.

•7) The distinction between fiction and reality is not much visible. Where does fantasy start and were does reality finish?

• 8) There is intertextuality. As a matter of fact Helen quotes some famous writers and Ralph quotes some famous scientists.
