Denotative analisys
The extract of the poem convene the tipical scene one can see in the early morning before a teenager is ready to go to school.
The poetes has the reader hear all the recurrent questions a teenager is adressed to by parents and asks the reader if he/she can recognise some phrases.
There follow a coment on parents behaviour:
Once mother remind his/her children it´s late and they have to go to school and the teenager´s reactions. He/She feels like remaining in bed because he/she considers there is still time and there is no need to hurry up. The extract ends with a later farther consideration:
Teenagers do not seem to have any sense of time. They don´t remember they have to get washed, cammed and ready to go out.
Last but not least, teenagers do not generally like there face:
They generally can see only the worst part of it, just there where you can find a zit!
Struktural analisys
The first five lines, remind in any interrogative sintax, reproduce on the sound level the obsesive questions parents generally adressed there children;
The second part of the poem the convers lines from six to fiftheen provide a coment on parents boring and frequent phrasis that hint at what teenagers should do and don´t do because of there young age and lack of experience.
The third part signalled by an anaphoric sintax provides a final coment on teenagers the most frequent preocupation and behaviour. They don´t understand time past quickly, they don´t remember they have to go to the bathroom and get ready to go to show and symbolic enough they don´t like themselfes:
There face is never okey, they look fat and there is always a zit on there adolescens face.
