The poet underlines how parents insist the adolescent gets up quickly because he or she might be late for school but the young chap believes there is so much time because he or she has to be at school for twenty to nine.

To tell the truth when you are an adolescent you don't really have a sense of time. You get up with terrible hair as if you had been in a fight. In addition you always have zits and when you at your face in mirror you hate it and, of course, you are terribly late. You have no PE kit and nothing seems to work.

But that's life, part of growing up that's why you need a lot of luck.
