The Dove
Considering the title the reader expects the poem might be about peace. The dove is a white bird which Is an emblem of peace and it is a symbol of purity and serenity.
The poem deal with a Picasso's painting which depict a dove and a battleground. These are two opposite subjects, because the dove is a symbol of peace, purity and serenity whereas the battleground is symbol of death and war.
The novel is arranged in one stanza made up by nine lines.
