1) The development of the Renaissance in England coincided with the new political situation of the country. During that period time developed the leterature too favorited by the introduction of the printing.
2)The term renaissance means "new birth".Iit was the rebirth of the study of classics.
3)The Renaissance came later in England because the classics came from south and tey took time to take place in Great Britain.
4)The Renaissance was a period in which the human being has been put at the centre of studying. There was the redescoverig of the human being as a person so te man was studied both on his spirital and physical components. There were a loto of statues which rappresented man's body, naked too. So we can understand that there's a very big attention on men's body. Also, in the Renaissance the woman started to be considered as part of the society as well as men.
5)The most important difference between the woman in sonnets and the one in ballads is that the woman in sonnets doesn't really exist. She rappresented the desire and she was a kind of imagination of te sonneteers. In sonnets the woman is loved by the author,she isn't dangerous for the man. In ballads the woman is rappresented as a tempter as she was considered in the Middle Ages.
6)The sonnet and the ballad were both accompaned by music,but the ballad originated in the Middle Ages while the sonnet was first written in the Renaissance. So they had different topics. Te ballad was handed down orally from generation to generation. The ballad is a popular form of poetry, while the sonnet was written by the sonneteers so it wasn't a popular form of poetry.
7)The language used in ballads was simple and ordinary since the ballad was adressed to all people. The sonnet was written at the court by the sonneteers who belonged to aristocracy. So the language was more complicated.
