Up to  Obama's Inauguration Speech. January 20ieth, 2009. Up to task document list
In this short essay I'm going to analysed and discussed Obama's Inauguration Speech.
The first interesting feature is the way he refers to American people as a matter of fact he starts with the words "My fellow citizens". The word fellow is used to refer to people who are at the same level of you. Moreover he underlines often the role of common people, so an intelligent listener can understand that all difficulties of USA must be solved together, politicians and ordinary people together. As a matter of fact Obama uses many times the pronoun "we" because in my opinion he considers himself an ordinary person who contributes to the creation of a new America.
In Obama's speech the use of anaphors is more frequent because, in my opinion, it is a technique that helps the listener to understand better what Obama says. As a matter of fact right from the start of the speech Obama does not use any metaphor to express America's situation.
Listening Obama's speech we can understand the most difficult work is the one of "Remaking America". He suggests some solutions and the way to arrive to these. For example he says that if the new government will be able to help citizens and will give them a new work to pay health care's expenditure, the vital trust between people and government will be restored.
After he discussed American inner problems, Obama considers USA in the world and the mission to create a new era. As a matter of fact he says that America is a friend of any nations and people who seek a future of peace and that a new era of peace must start between people of different religions and culture, no more civil war.
In the last sequence Obama affirms that Muslim terrorist people will be judge on what they build not on what they destroy.
And that each American citizens has to recognize that everybody has duties (the old values: honesty , hard work, courage, tolerance and patriotism). If America wants to improve she must to follow old values.
In conclusion of his speech Obama says that as as the contemporary United States has received much, the future generation must have the possibility to receive much: this is U.S.A.'s responsibility. In my opinion, this expresses the cyclic structure of Obama's speech.
