The speaking voice is The Mongkut oldest son.

  •  Why do you think the director choose this narrative tecnique?

I think the director worked in this way because the child had a direct contact with the king and with Anna andand he was the spectator of the story.

In my opinion the most important topics are love, conflicts between cultures and death of loved one.

  • Do you agree with messages?

Yes I do. The conflict is often present in the film.The most important example is when Anna tries to make the king's son respect his punishment.

 

 

  • I think Anna's problem is that she isn't able to comprehend the Siamese culture and the king's choiches. Her problem is not that she can't find an answer in Christianity.
  • I agree. I think the two cultures are presented with equilibrium, without giving any judgement.
