 In this extract the most important character is Beowulf.  

Beowulf  on earth there is no one like him. Seem that he cames from deities.

He is  courageous, pawerful and he is wise.

 He ordered  a boat that would ply the waves.Nobody tried to keep him from going to help the king. He is a nephew of king Hygelac and he is tied to his king by loyalty and kinship.

 There are three particular expressions: to ply the waves,omens , the swan's road. The first one means to sail well and the second means  signs showing wheter future events will be good or bad and the thirth  represent the sea.

There are more caesures in  half of lines and there are any enjambement to create a break at the end of verses.
