The second part of the extract speaks about Beowulf’s voyage. First of all the narrator describes the voyage of Beowulf and crew, they have to face a difficult voyage. He explains that the conditions of the sea are not easy. He tells us that the crew were good to fight he also adds the people of the crew had a strong wild. He uses a simile to compare the ship voyage with a fly of a birds. Moreover the narrator creates the idea of speed in reader’s mind using run on line that adds speed to the text, and the alliteration of the sound “w”, that stick it into the mind of the reader. The storyteller concludes saying that they arrive in their destination, they thank the God for the easy crossing.
