A study holiday in New York

A memory of our visit at Famee Furlane

This summer, eight students from the Liceo Scientifico A. Einstein of Cervignano del Friuli (UD) were in New York with their English teacher, Marilena Beltramini. The students were taking an English course at St. John's University from July 16th to the 28th and were interested in meeting members of our Club. We met the students at Boulder Creek Restaurant where we enjoyed a typical American meal and concluded the evening at the Club.  The students were very interested in the history of the Club and had many questions for Ugo Peressin, while Irene Rosa and Toni Ann Petovello (Board member Paul Petovello's daughter) engaged the students in conversation about life in New York.  The students were ecstatic to be able to practice their English with members of our Club.
