15th AUGUST 2011 

I remember very well what I did on the 15^th August. It was Mid-August and so I was invited by my friends to spend a day camping in Grado. I hadn't seen them for a long time - in fact since the school last day - so I was very happy to receive their invitation. When I arrived some of them were already there and had just finished to put up the tent, because they would stay there until the following day. I met all my friends  whom I haven't many opportunities to stay with and met foreign  boys and girls who were staying at the camping for their holidays. When we finished settling, we went for a stroll around the camping and I was surprised: it was huge! I had never been in a camp before and I liked it a lot. The first thing we decided to do after lunch was to go to the swimming-pool but we got a nasty surprise: we had to wear the bathing-cap! We didn't have it so we had to stay in the children's pool. The water came up to our knees, but it was better than nothing. Then we went back to the tent, played cards and relaxed. At around 5 o'clock we decided to visit the beach. There we met the camping entertainers who proposed us to play a volleyball match against some German boys. How could we refuse? After we lost several points, we managed to talk with them and made friends. But it was dinner time, so we agreed to meet at the entertainment centre, where there would be group dances and disco. Once we met again we danced together and enjoyed ourselves very much. At 11 o'clock we went on the bridge and saw the fireworks: they were beautiful! Unfortunately it was time to go home for me and my parents came to pick me up. It was a wonderful day and I hope to repeat it again next year!
