UNITED KINGDOM
Geography
UK is located off the northwestern coast of
continental Europe. UK lies between the North Atlantic and the North Sea and is
separated (from) France by the English Channel. In the north there's Scotland,
In the East there's Wales and all the rest of the bigger Island that composed
the United Kingdom there's England. Separated by a channel, on the left there's
the Irish Island (the smaller one). In the north there's "North Ireland" that
is a part of the United Kingdom (all the rest of Ireland is independent). The
climate of the UK it's generally temperate but the south it's warmer and drier
than the north.
Culture
The culture of the United Kingdom refers to the patterns of
human activity and symbolism associated with the United Kingdom and its people.
It is informed by the UK's history as a developed island country, major power,
and its composition of four countries-England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales-each
of which have preserved distinct customs, cultures and symbolism.
