14^th September 2011 Lesson

During the previous lesson we talked about literary language. The teacher explained us that this kind of language is rather removed from every day language. Besides our teacher introduced the function and the most important characteristics of a intelligent reader. In fact he or she has to read between lines and hasn't to stop to the first meaning of a word. As a matter of fact it's the reader that gives the text life.  In addition we learnt that literature is very important because it could be truer than reality and so it is considered dangerous for people who wants to command. Finally, during the whole lesson the teacher analysed a lot of words she said in order to make us understand that the reader has to comprehend how a word is important and what it can say.
