Es 15.11 pag 191 – Grammar Matters

1.         Fred, why don’t you tell your friend to be quiet? I’m trying to work.

2.         Yesterday Jenny called me and unexpectedly she told me: “I’m leaving for Africa tomorrow”.

3.         If you tell me another lie you’ll be punished.

4.         Can you please tell dad that supper is ready?

5.         The notice says “Beware of dog”, but I can’t see any dogs around.

TOPPIC OF THE LAST LESSON 

 

During the last lesson we talked about words, their order and the choices of the writer.. The teacher told us about the importance of word, and the work the writer have to do to give a specific effect to the reader. Then we talked about argumentative text where the writer proposes a thesis, a point of view and then the argumentation that support the idea on the text.  Finally the teacher told us some linking word that you can use when you write an argumentative text, and some verbs.
