Textuality » 4A Interacting
Every analysis must be revised several times, through drafting and redrafting (revisione).
When you learn a language, you must be able to redraft and write more and more good texts. It is always essential to keep in mind the addressee of a text, so to use suitable words and expressions for every situation.
The most important part of our school syllabus is textual analysis, because it helps to understand the meaning of a text. The two key words of textual analysis are text and analysis. A text is everything which conveys a message, so a text is not necessarily made up of words. An analysis is a way to make a text more clear, and to display hidden aspects of it. Textual analysis is not only important in literature, but also in other disciplines like mathematics, since it helps you to look in depth and find information.
Messaggio performativo -> genera un cambiamento nella realtà
Every language has idiomatic expressions which are useful to know to better construct a text. Moreover, English is a high combinatory language, that is to say that every word has its own specific position inside a sentence; it is also a language where words often change function (e.g. "Italian" was just an adjective, but then it has become also a noun).
Finally, English is the language which has the greatest multicultural basis of all, since it is spoken all over the world.
