TRY TO DESCRIBE WHAT LITERATURE IS FOR ME
It's difficult to say what literature is because literature manifests it in many and different forms.
For example Literature texts are made of words so they manifest it with words, Painting manifests it with colours, sculpture with marble and so on.
Everyone can make up of his own an idea to tell what literature is and often is a correct definition since there isn't an only correct one.
A poet defined in this way literature "Literature is the question minus the answer"; I'm completely agreed with this definition because I think there are endless meanings of Literature.
Literature sends a lot of messages and most of this message may be true because every reader has an interpretation but it needs to remember that interpretation isn't free.
Literature is art and different form of arts use different ingredients and tools.
The purpose of the literature is to arouse utmost of emotion and feelings, to make travel own mind.
All the form of literature is charged of meanings and emotions. Literature isn't connected with the writer's or artist's life, it has a life on its own.
Whenever poets write they must follow a system, a DISCIPLINE TECNIC so the language the poets use is charged with a lot of meaning and that is why poetry aroused and stirs several emotions. Literature for me can be made in many forms also simple; the important thing is that the reader from the sight of this form draws feelings and emotions that can be both negative and positive.
The comment of a literary text or a statue or a painting depends from the reader's and observer's personality, someone can like it, to somebody else no.
Literature isn't necessarily something that we are seen or that we are read, indeed it can be also something that we are listened.
Music and song are forms of literature thereby they transmit us emotions. When we read a literary text we mustn't stop us to the literal meaning of the words but we must go beyond and discover deeper and hidden meanings.
