During the previous lesson the teacher asks us what is the most important part of our school syllabus of this year and in my opinion textual analysis is. The two key words of textual analysis are text and analysis. A text is not only made of raw material, which are words, but to be a text it has to convey a message. In my opinion textual analysis helps people to open mind, because it allows us to make every kind of text more clear and to find its hidden aspects. As I said before, textual analysis can be made in every kind of text, so it is not important only for literature but also for other subjects like maths. In a mathematical text everything is important, not only numbers, but also words, because numbers are nothing without words.

Besides the teacher wants that we improve our English and so she wants that we make a project called “drafting and redrafting”, where we try to improve some texts that we have wrote in the past.
