Textuality » 4A Interacting
Lesson:
The 14 of September 2011
In the last lesson the class discussed about art and literature. At the beginning the teacher presented us a Jeanette Winterson's book's title Art objects. We made hypothesis on the word art, considering the phonological level. The words' sound is the first aspect that the reader
should consider when he or she read a literary text. Generally the literary use a rather remote language, so the word has many meanings. Art and literature speaks at anybody, but is the reader that makes up the text. When dictators ruled people, art and literature were considered dangerous; so they imposed their own language. The reader should go in depth into the text, and he or she shouldn't stop on the surface.
