Textual analysis

The purpose of a textual analysis may be to make iphotesis about a text’s message.
To do this, you have to examine the techniques the author uses (Genre, Rhetoric and vocabulary, High-frequency words, Collocations, …).
The most important step is recognize the interlocutor and then assign at the text its appropriate language to make it clear to understand.
To make a good analysis you have also to go in depth into the text, you have to read it more times in order to compose overall meanings.
In a second time you should interpret the most significative words, finding figures of speech, to create a better level of comprehension.
Then you have also to create links between words and themes of the text, this is the connotation level.
Finally you may give your personal interpretation and you conclusion about the text.
