The phrase "Industrial Revolution" is used to describe the change from an agrarian economy to an industrialized economic system. It developed in XVIII century and brought important changes in world life.

The Industrial Revolution is linked with the Agrarian one. This could be described as the drove of agricultural workers from land to cities looking for a work because the new machinery in lands decreased the manual labour.

The technological invention helped the rose of Industrial Revolution. As a matter of fact they had a new process for producing cotton and wool these were the spinning jenny of James Hargreaves, Edmund Cartwright's power loom and also the power-steam improved by James Watt for locomotives and steam boats (applied by Robert Fulton and George Stephenson). The steam engine needed lot of coal, which production doubled in 50 years.

During the Revolution the communications spread. New railways, roads and waterways were built. This improved large-scale factory because the market grew in a large scale and the need of goods grew. The factory concentrated the production in one place and imposed new types of work where people were badly treated. This means that Industrial Revolution brought wealth but not well being.
