1 Ffor a woman five hundred pounds a years and a room of one's own represent the possibility to be free. Free from what? Free from the role she must have in daily life: the mother's and wife's roles. With pounds she has the opportunity to separate her self by the precarious situation of world, the room gives her the possibility to have a place in which she can think and then express her creativity.

 

3 The women have rarely written poetry because were slaves of ordinary life in which the authority was in men's hands.

 

4 Virginia Woolf has a positive perspective of the relation between women and poetry, but this will be possible only if women have the possibility (with pounds and a room) to experiment them creativity without breaks and fear.
