In this path i will explain the comparison between modernism and postmodernism. Firstly postmodernism is a movement of ideas contrary to modernism, indeed modernism's aim is to uncovering a fundamental truth that lies beyon of what we consider to be reality, instead in postmodernsim philosophy there is the concept of crumbles of truth and there are more than one realities, furthermore the position of the human being is decentered and there is no original ideas but only representations and copies of each others. In conclusion postmdernism rejects western values and belifes and prefers to dwell on the exterior image instead modernism belives in western culture and ideas and attemps to find depth and interior meaning under the surface of objects and events.
